The price adjustments were implemented in stages. New prices for Pertamax Turbo, Dexlite and Pertamina Dex took effect on 1 September 2026. This was followed by an increase in Pertamax Green 95 on 2 September 2026.
Pertamina stated the adjustments refer to a government-set formula that considers global crude oil prices, the rupiah exchange rate, taxes, and purchasing power.
Vice President of Corporate Communication Kitty Andhora said the move was made “by taking into account economic considerations, purchasing power and social conditions”.
The government has repeatedly assured that subsidized fuel prices will not increase. Pertalite remains at IDR 10,000 per liter and subsidized diesel at IDR 6,800 per liter.

– Pertamax Green 95: IDR 19,150/L, up 15.36% from IDR 16,600
– Pertamax: IDR 15,950/L, unchanged
– Pertalite: IDR 10,000/L, unchanged
Gasoil / Diesel
– Pertamina Dex: IDR 25,200/L, up 19.15% from IDR 21,150
– Dexlite: IDR 23,700/L, up 20.3% from IDR 19,700
– Biosolar: IDR 6,800/L, unchanged 1f012872
The biggest increase was in Dexlite, which rose IDR 4,000 per liter or 20.3%. Pertamina Dex increased IDR 4,050 per liter or 19.1%.
