I, Andy Roganda Simarmata, as a member of the RI-1 Team, hereby convey my sincere apologies to His Excellency President Vladimir Putin of the Russian Federation, regarding the inappropriate conduct of an Aide to the President of the Republic of Indonesia during an official state event.
We deeply regret any actions that may have caused discomfort or been perceived as disrespectful. The Government and people of Indonesia highly value the friendship and strategic partnership with the Russian Federation.
We reaffirm our commitment to upholding the highest standards of protocol and mutual respect in all diplomatic engagements.
