The Attorney General’s Office (AGO) reportedly picked up the former Head of the National Nutrition Agency (BGN), Dadan Hindayana, along with two former Deputy Heads of BGN, Lodewyk Pusung and Sonny Sonjaya, on Wednesday (June 3, 2026) at around 4:00 a.m. Western Indonesian Time.
The Acting Head of the AGO’s Legal Information Center, Jefri, stated that the arrest would be officially announced that afternoon. Furthermore, the AGO also conducted a search of the BGN office in Kebon Sirih, Central Jakarta, that morning.
The AGO’s action came a day after President Prabowo Subianto officially removed Dadan Hindayana from his position as Head of BGN, along with his two deputies.
Minister of State Secretary Prasetyo Hadi emphasized that the change in BGN leadership is part of the President’s ongoing evaluation of the performance of the agency, which plays a vital role in the national nutrition priority program.
The government confirmed that the Free Nutritional Meals (MBG) program will continue despite the replacement of BGN leadership and the ongoing audit of the agency.
